The decomposed body of the 70-year-old man was discovered in a leaning position through the window of his home on Thursday about 14:00 hrs by a 40-year-old mason of Wismar, Linden. The home is located in the Wisroc Housing Scheme, Wismar Linden. He has been identified as Omar Shamsuddeen, aged 70 years, a remigrant from USA.
The police were informed and visited the scene, where the body was observed next to a water tank in the yard, naked and partially decomposed with the head and chest in a leaning position through a metal grill of an eastern window in the house. The body was removed and checked for marks of violence but none was seen.
The body is presently at the DGetsco Funeral Home awaiting a post mortem examination, as enquiries are ongoing
