THE TRUTH IN BLACK AND WHITE

Three Friends Mines man charged seven months after for manslaughter

-placed on $400,000.00 bail

Charged- Terrence Pancham

Seven months after 32-year-old Ronald Wong of Three Friends Mines was found with chop wounds in a paddle boat, a 53-year-old operator from the same village, identified as Terrence Pancham, is been charged for manslaughter committed on Wong.

It was initially suggested that Wong succumbed from wounds he received from his uncle 58-year-old Leonard Reece who was also found murdered in his home the said day. Neighbours had suggested that Wong, who was of unsound mind and was convicted for attempted murder, had attacked his uncle and in self-defence his uncle had attacked him.

Pancham is now being charged for Wong’s death. He appeared at the Linden Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday after being charged with manslaughter.

He was not required to plea to the indictable charge and was placed on $400,000.00 bail and the matter was postponed to 2022-01-21 for report.
