Sherwin Daniels, a logger of Kwakwani, is now critical at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), after being struck from his motorcycle by a motor car driven by Delmus McPherson at the Kwakwani Waterfront Road. The accident occurred on Monday, November 8, sometime around 17:30 hrs.
According to reports reaching this media house, Daniels was a stone’s throw away from his home, proceeding south along the Waterfront road when Mcperson swerved unto the main road from the intersection on the eastern side of the roadway, struck Daniels off his motorcycle.
After which, he fell on the main road, resulting in him sustaining injuries to head which he hit on the main road; injuries to his legs, about his face and suffered a damaged left eye.
Daniels was picked up by public spirited citizens and taken to the Kwakwani Hospital, while Mcpherson stand hurling expletives at family members who were at the time telling him he was wrong.
The injured man was transferred to the Linden Hospital Complex and was referred to GPHC, where he remains hospitalised.
McPherson is in custody as the investigation continues
