Lindeners can now enjoy more than three television channels thanks to PurpleFlixs IPTV, a cable provider company that will be launched in the mining town this weekend.
The company’s launch will be hosted on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Linden Town Week’s Business Exposition that will take place at the Wismar Market Car Park.
PurpleFlixs IPTV will be offering internet protocol television services and customers will have three packages they can choose from, Eco, Basic and Premium.
The Eco package costs only $2500 per month and consists of 50 live HD channels, free tech support, live radio and upgrade options.
Meanwhile, the Basic package costs $3500 per month and includes 100 live HD channels, movies and series (VOD), free tech support, live radio and upgrade options.
The Premium package consist of 200 live HD channels, movies and series (video on demand), free tech support and live radio, all for just $5000 a month.
The company will also be offering its own PurpleFlixs boxes for purchase.
Although the company’s main focus is Linden, its services will be offered in other communities round Guyana.
Owner of PurpleFlixs IPTV, Yanic Payne, related that his love for technology is what inspired him to pursue PurpleFlixs IPTV.
The Lindener stated, “I decide to start my business because I realised that in this beautiful bauxite mining town of Linden only have three channels and it is also hard for persons in this mining town to see local Georgetown content, so in 2017 I came up with the idea of bringing various content to Linden.”
The 27-year-old explained, “Due to COVID-19 we were locked away and there was no socialisation or no form of outdoor entertainment during that period, so I decide to pursue my dream of providing local and international content at an affordable cost by using persons’ Smart TV, Android or Amazon firestick.”
Payne said persons should choose his service because it is 99.9% reliable and offers extra features like as parental control, multi-screen and speed test.
The young man stated that he hopes to provide his services internationally and become one of the best IPTV in the world in the future.
“I am hoping to expand services fully to the United States of America and other countries so that persons abroad can still have access to their local news and entertainment back here in Guyana. I also want to start producing and streaming our own content and to be one of the best IPTV services in the world,” he noted.

Excellent move. The Linden community has been sitting on the opportunity to have it’s own TV STATION for many years now.
Maybe you can make them an offer that they can’t refuse.
