The construction of a modern building that will house the Christianburg Primary School, is progressing smoothly and regional officials are pleased with the quality of work that is being executed by S and K Construction and Consultancy Firm. Works are approximately 50 per cent completed.
The contract for the construction of the school was signed in December 2019, to the tune of $119 M. Students attending the school were temporarily accommodated at the St. Aiden’s Primary School.
The new school will accommodate approximately 200 pupils and will be a one-storey building. It is being constructed at the same location where the former school, which was demolished, was located, on Public Road, Christianburg.
Parents and teachers of the school had engaged government officials of the previous administration to have the school rebuilt and efforts to do so was expedited.
