Five primary schools in Linden benefited from the addition of more than two
hundred quality books to their respective libraries with a timely donation from the 10 Forward Civic Group. The donation exercise was made possible through selfless and dedicated collaboration with Lindener Sherene Noble and other staff members ofthe Lyons Community School of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York.
This collaboration saw the shipment of more than 1,000 books into the town of Linden.
The books which catered to students from Grades One through Seven of the Bamia, Mackenzie
One Mile, Wismar Hill and Christianburg Primary Schools; comprised a mix of mainly
natural and social sciences, language, geography and mathematics texts.
The 10 FORWARD group, among other community service focus areas, is committed to
fostering stronger cognitive and reasoning acumen among the region ten populace, particularly
among school aged children.
