Linden Police are investigating the murder of a resident of Wismar Housing Scheme, Linden resident, who was discovered by neighbours on Friday morning with a gaping wound to the throat and another to his right wrist. Dead is 54- year-old Dwane Williams, of 54 Wismar Housing Scheme. He was a vendor.
His nephew Collin Williams related to the police that his uncle visited his mother around 21:00 hrs, spent a few minutes and told them he was going home to cook.
The next morning, neighbours informed him that his uncle’s lifeless body was discovered. The police was summoned to the scene and a knife was found. Police canvassed the area for CCTV cameras and none was found. Police also questioned persons around the area and no useful information was obtained. Investigations are ongoing.
